Interest in Sector Work: I’m interested in sector work for the following reasons:

  • To provide low income job seekers career pathways opportunities within key industry sectors in the Portland metropolitan region such as advanced manufacturing and healthcare.
  • To meet employers’ workforce needs by delivering innovative training, providing skilled workers and offering additional resources such as on-the-job training and internships.
  • To accelerate the opportunity for students improving their basic skills to continue their education and enter high growth and high demand industries through career pathways programs.
  • To align with the Oregon statewide 10-year strategic workforce plan that focuses on industry sector strategies.
